Job descriptionWe are a warm family in Victoria looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to support mom and our newborn, with occasional school pickup/drop-off or light support for two primary-school-aged children. The core role is newborn care. The right person has real infant/newborn experience and is calm and confident with feeding, naps, soothing, diapering, safe sleep, walks, age-appropriate play, baby laundry, and keeping baby areas tidy. We care a lot about warmth, reliability, good judgment, clear communication, and someone who can become a trusted part of the household. When the baby is sleeping or the day allows, we would also value light family-assistant help: simple meal prep for the children, household reset, errands, packing, and generally helping family life run smoothly. Experience cooking nutritious family meals or an education/child-development background would be a strong plus, but not required. CPR/First Aid is important. If the fit is otherwise excellent and your certification needs updating, we are happy to pay for the course. We are also looking for someone comfortable with references, a background check, payroll, and a written agreement. Start timing is flexible for the right person. Compensation is competitive, with a target range around $30-$35/hour depending on experience. Occasional family travel may come up, so travel comfort is a plus but not a hard requirement. If this sounds aligned, please message us with your newborn/infant experience, weekday availability, desired hourly range, whether you are open to occasional travel, and whether you can provide references from past families.
