Method

• Metric is looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Intern to join our team. We are looking for an individual with a passion for SEO and digital marketing. You'll get the opportunity to work on different projects in a variety of industries. We're a small team, building big things. This role is a full-time position.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work closely with the team to create marketing materials that sustain readers' curiosity and create buzz
• Contribute to the strategic direction for client optimization projects
• Contribute ideas for new marketing initiatives and documents
• Uncover opportunities for Method
• Metric to contribute to the online community
• Compile, analyze, and report on results for strategy improvement
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
• Establish KPIs and metrics for reporting on results for all digital campaigns, as well as providing recommendations for improvements
• Contribute to the development of SEO and content strategy for a variety of clients

The Skills and Requirements You Need

• Pursuing a Certificate or Degree in Business or Marketing or recent post-secondary graduate
• Possesses knowledge & understanding of On-page and off-page SEO
• Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret social media and other online data to react to issues and other concerns that may affect our company's image or profit
• Self-starting team member able to work with minimal supervision to prioritize and meet conflicting deadlines
• Can speak and write English at a University level
• Passionate and curious about Marketing
• Excellent customer service
• Strong detail-orientation, organizational, and time management skills
• Familiarity using WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Moz, Ahrefs, and SEMrush

Bonus Skills

• Prior experience in corporate marketing and/or communications environment
• Video/Audio editing
• Photo and design skills

Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay Rate: $18 / hour
• Must be able to work in Canada
