Job Description

** This role can be based in any location in BC, AB, or SK **

FLINT's Assessment, Remediation, Reclamation and Closure (ARRC) service line is a well-established and growing practice within our Environmental Services division. We are seeking a Service Line Manager to lead this high-performing team, strengthen our market position, and drive the next phase of operational excellence and growth.

As the Service Line Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and success of the ARRC service line, including operations, project delivery, people leadership, business development, and financial performance. Working closely with the Director of Environmental Services, you will support strategic planning, foster strong client relationships, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality environmental solutions across Western Canada and into Ontario.

What would you be doing?

  • Lead the Assessment, Remediation, Reclamation and Closure service line, ensuring strong operational performance, financial sustainability, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring safe delivery and compliance with regulatory, client, professional, and internal standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, landowners, and other stakeholders, representing FLINT as a trusted environmental consulting partner.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing proposals, leading RFP responses, and supporting cross‑functional growth strategies.
  • Mentor, develop, and support multidisciplinary teams while driving continuous improvement in project delivery, technical quality, safety performance, and operational effectiveness.

Perks of the job

  • Opportunity to lead a well-established and successful technical service line within a growing Environmental Services division.
  • Meaningful work supporting remediation, reclamation, environmental stewardship, and responsible land closure across Canada.
  • A dynamic leadership role combining operations, client relationships, business development, and technical oversight.
  • The ability to influence strategy, drive continuous improvement, and shape the future growth of the service line.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering or Sciences with a relevant professional designation.
  • 15+ years in environmental consulting, including assessment, remediation, reclamation, closure, regulatory compliance, and project delivery.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams, technical professionals, and complex environmental programs.
  • Strong business and operational acumen, including experience managing budgets, margins, forecasting, resource planning, utilization, and project performance.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills, with experience developing client relationships and supporting business growth.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.

Candidates shortlisted will be required to complete the Profile TRAITS Survey.

The purpose of the TRAITS Survey tool is to assist FLINT in understanding the behaviors of individuals to support the best use of their strengths, abilities, and potential.
