As a Client Relation Representative, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and fostering long-term relationships. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, assisting with their insurance needs, providing guidance on coverage options, and ensuring a positive customer experience at every interaction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, building rapport, and supporting clients through important life events and insurance decisions.
Salary Range: $42,000 - $60,000
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to clients regarding insurance products, policy changes, billing inquiries, claims support, transfers, and coverage questions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, families, and business owners through exceptional service and regular follow-up.
- Assist clients in understanding their insurance coverage and identify opportunities to better meet their evolving needs.
- Support client retention by ensuring a positive customer experience and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments, manage client communications, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Work closely with the agent and team members to ensure client needs are met and service standards are exceeded.
- Educate clients on available insurance products and services while providing personalized recommendations when appropriate.
- Assist with office marketing initiatives, referral opportunities, and community outreach activities.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and agency procedures to effectively support clients.
Requirements:
- OTL/RIBO and/or Life License preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- A genuine passion for helping people and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience in customer service, relationship management, insurance, sales, business development, or financial services.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to identify client needs and provide appropriate solutions and support.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable communicating with individuals, families, and business owners.
- Insurance, life insurance, employee benefits, or financial services experience is considered an asset.

You will be hired to work at The Personal Insurance Company (“The Personal”) for a period of up to 60 days to allow you to complete training and licensing. If training and licensing are successfully completed, you will be considered for employment with an independent contractor Desjardins Agent.
