Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Production Operator for a leading manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined, quality-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured according to specification while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
  • Pay Rate: $18.50 - $ 19.50/hour
  • Location: Belleville, ON
  • Shifts: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday for training and transition to 11:00pm - 7:30am
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular inspections of manufactured components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards
  • Operate production equipment in accordance with process instructions and production requirements
  • Monitor machine performance and keep equipment running at established production standards
  • Feed materials and components into machines to maintain a continuous production flow
  • Work closely with Set-Up Technicians and Lead Hands to achieve daily production targets and schedules
  • Assemble and build ceramic plates through printing, pressing, sealing, and cleaning processes
  • Identify and report quality issues, equipment concerns, or process deviations
  • Complete production and quality documentation as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma
  • Clean Criminal background
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical drawings
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving abilities
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to meet production targets
  • Commitment to quality and safety
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Dependable and motivated work ethic
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
