Job description
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Cook & Personal Assistant to help our family maintain a seamless and relaxing summer season. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys preparing fresh meals, and takes pride in keeping a home tidy and welcoming. You will be an essential part of our summer, ensuring the "back of house" runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities • Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing fresh, seasonal lunches and dinners (simple, healthy cottage fare). • Grocery Shopping: Managing pantry inventory, creating lists, and handling trips to local markets/grocers. • Light Housekeeping: Daily tidying of common areas, kitchen cleanup, and ensuring the cottage is guest-ready. • Laundry Services: Handling light laundry duties, including linens, towels, and personal items as needed.
