A Snapshot of Your Day
As part of being a Research and Development Project Manager, you will contribute to Siemens‑Energy’s effort to improve engine efficiencies and reduce gas turbine emissions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Engage partners to identify project scope and communicate requirements.
- Engage technical leads and resource owners to create project plans using Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and ensure milestone delivery.
- Manage the project throughout the Product Development Process (PDP) and be accountable for delivering the defined scope.
- Lead project execution and coordinate multiple functions including engineering, business controlling, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing.
- Identify project KPIs, manage communication plans, and serve as the single point of contact for partner queries.
- Act as an entrepreneur to identify opportunities, address hurdles, and make timely decisions.
- Manage risk through strategies aligned with business risk appetite.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering with 5+ years of demonstrable Project Management experience across functions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, strong leadership, self‑motivation, and passion for ownership.
- Experience in Lean and Agile methods for project management.
- Experience developing, monitoring, and controlling project plans in an engineering environment.
- Advanced knowledge of gas turbine products and technologies, specifically turbines, blades, and vanes manufacturing.
- RDPM certification, PMP certification, or recognized equivalent (preferred).
- Fluency in English; French‑speaking environment required but English necessary for documentation.
