Job description

Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking an experiencedSenior DataAnalyst to join theStrategic Data & Researchteam in ourGo-To-MarketData Intelligence team. TheGDIteam is charteredwithdeliveringaccuratefoundational data and customer intelligence to inform go-to-market(GTM)teams’engagement acrossthecustomerlifecycle.

Data Analysts play a critical role in shaping GTM focus areas by uncovering insights, influencing business decisions, and partnering across functions to deliver customer intelligence used throughout the customer lifecycle.

We are open to remote candidates based in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Own analytics projects from problem definition through delivery,identifyingopportunities to refine the scope as new insightsemerge

  • Drive investigative analyses, using business context and data todeterminethe next questions worth answering rather than simply executing predefined requests

  • Collaborate with ProgramManagers to explore newprojectideas orenhancements

  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches that drive actionable decisions

  • Partner with Data Scientists toidentifyareas of improvement forData Science models

  • Work with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams tooperationalizeour customer intelligence and make itaccessibleto the business

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, influencing decisions through clear, actionable data storytelling

  • Buildscalablereporting to measure progress in keyinitiatives

  • Develop deepexpertisein Autodesk’s customer and go-to-market data ecosystem

  • Work as an individual contributor with opportunities forleadershipas we grow theteam

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or Business Analytics) or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

  • 4+ years in an Analyst role

  • Strong SQL coding skills and comfortable using iteveryday

  • Experience with Snowflake

  • Experience working in Python or R

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent) to accelerate data work, automate repetitive tasks, and improve analytical productivity

  • Comfortable with presenting data and storytelling usinga variety of tools, ranging from PowerPoint to Power BI to Python

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Salesforce & Salesforce data objects

  • Familiarity with Data Science concepts

  • Experience working inGit

  • Experience working withDBT

  • Experience with Looker

Autodesk recherche un analyste de données senior expérimenté pour rejoindre l’équipe « Strategic Data & Research » au sein de notre équipe « Go-To-Market Data Intelligence » (GDI). Les analystes de données jouent un rôle essentiel dans la définition des axes prioritaires de la stratégie de commercialisation (GTM) en mettant en évidence des informations pertinentes, en influençant les décisions commerciales et en collaborant avec les différentes fonctions pour fournir des informations clients utilisées tout au long du cycle de vie du client.

Responsabilités

  • Gérer des projets d’analyse de A à Z, de la définition du problème à la livraison, en identifiant les opportunités d’affiner le périmètre à mesure que de nouvelles informations émergent

  • Mener des analyses exploratoires, en s’appuyant sur le contexte métier et les données pour déterminer les prochaines questions auxquelles il convient de répondre, plutôt que de se contenter d’exécuter des demandes prédéfinies

  • Collaborer avec les chefs de projet pour explorer de nouvelles idées de projets ou des améliorations

  • Traduire des questions métier ambiguës en approches analytiques structurées qui conduisent à des décisions exploitables

  • Collaborer avec les data scientists pour identifier les axes d’amélioration des modèles de science des données

  • Travailler avec les équipes d’ingénierie des données et de Business Intelligence pour opérationnaliser nos informations clients et les rendre accessibles à l’entreprise

  • Présenter les conclusions et les recommandations aux parties prenantes, en influençant les décisions grâce à une présentation claire et exploitable des données

  • Mettre en place un système de reporting évolutif pour mesurer les progrès des initiatives clés

  • Développer une expertise approfondie de l’écosystème de données clients et de stratégie de commercialisation d’Autodesk

  • Travailler en tant que collaborateur autonome avec des opportunités d’évoluer vers des fonctions de direction à mesure que l’équipe s’agrandit

Qualifications Minimales

  • Licence dans un domaine quantitatif (par exemple, statistiques, mathématiques, informatique, économie, science des données ou analyse de données d’entreprise) ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience professionnelle pertinente.

  • Au moins 4 ans d’expérience dans un poste d’analyste

  • Solides compétences en codage SQL et aisance dans son utilisation quotidienne

  • Expérience avec Snowflake

  • Expérience de travail avec Python ou R

  • Maîtrise des outils de développement assistés par l’IA (par exemple, Claude Code ou équivalent) pour accélérer le traitement des données, automatiser les tâches répétitives et améliorer la productivité analytique

  • Aisance dans la présentation des données et la narration à l’aide de divers outils, allant de PowerPoint à Power BI en passant par Python
