We combine the Alberta Education curriculum with the International Baccalaureate philosophy, fostering inquiry, critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and lifelong learning.

We are seeking an inspiring and visionary School Principal who is passionate about student success, instructional excellence, and collaborative leadership. This individual will lead our school community with integrity, innovation, and a deep commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing learning environment.

The School Principal serves as the educational and operational leader of the school, providing strategic direction in teaching and learning, staff development, student well-being, school operations, and community engagement. The successful candidate will champion the International Baccalaureate philosophy while ensuring excellence in the delivery of the Alberta curriculum.

This role requires an experienced instructional leader who can inspire educators, build strong relationships with families, and cultivate a positive school culture where every student thrives academically, socially, emotionally, and ethically.

  • Support staff in implementing IB frameworks, assessments, and collaborative planning practices.
  • Lead the school through IB authorization, evaluation, and ongoing programme development where applicable.

School Leadership & Culture

  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and values-based school culture grounded in respect, integrity, empathy, and excellence.
  • Build meaningful relationships with students, staff, parents, and the broader school community.
  • Promote student well-being, character development, and positive behaviour.
  • Inspire innovation, collaboration, and shared leadership among staff.
  • Lead school-wide initiatives that enhance student engagement and school improvement.

Operational & Administrative Leadership

  • Ensure effective scheduling, supervision, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta Education legislation, school policies, and IB standards.
  • Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational development.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional growth of staff.

Community Engagement

  • Develop strong partnerships with parents, families, and community organizations.
  • Communicate openly, professionally, and effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Represent the school at community events, educational meetings, and IB-related activities.
  • Promote the school's vision, mission, and values within the wider community.
