Job description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern – Communications and Design

Location: Montreal, QC

Anticipated Start Date: July 2026

Contract Duration: 12 months

Work Hours: 40 hours per week; Full-time internship

  • Contribute to content planning and coordination across channels, including social media and collaboration platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, SharePoint), ensuring information is accurate, engaging, and accessible, and major initiatives are aligned with other stakeholders.
  • Help manage and deliver internal programs and initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional partners (e.g., HR, leadership teams, employee committees).
  • Coordinate and support internal events, leadership meetings, all-managers meetings, and organizational communications cadences.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity with strong attention to detail and execution.

What You’ll Bring

A curious and agile mindset, with a passion for learning and the resilience to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness that support inclusive teamwork and thoughtful stakeholder engagement. A growing foundation in business acumen and emerging technologies — especially artificial intelligence — paired with a results-oriented approach and the courage to take initiative.

Education: Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field. Must demonstrate top academic achievement.

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.

  • Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluency in English, with strong writing and editing skills as demonstrated by a cover letter and, if available, 1-3 samples of writing (e.g., blogs, published articles, and school compositions).
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a team player attitude.
  • Ability to move quickly, take initiative, multi-task, and work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments and follow through on commitments.
  • Social media and digital technology experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Not required, but would be an asset:

  • Prior work experience, e.g., working at SAP, newsletter production, feature writing, conducting interviews etc.
  • Conversational or written competency in a language other than English. Fluency in German is a bonus.

Where You Belong

The Product & Engineering organization for SAP Customer Experience is focused on creating solutions that make marketing, sales, shopping, and customer service better for businesses – and their customers. In this role you will develop a solid foundation and understanding of internal corporate communications, employee engagement, change management, and scaling for impact.
