About the Role

As a Vendor Business Analyst / Vendor Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth for your assigned vendor line. You will own key business levers—including P&L management, forecasting, inventory analysis, and vendor relationship development—while partnering cross-functionally to maximize revenue and profitability.

This role is ideal for an analytical, business-minded professional who enjoys working at the intersection of data, strategy, and relationship management. You will gain exposure to market trends, vendor strategy, and sales enablement, making a direct impact on business outcomes and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Financial Performance

    Monitor and analyze profit & loss (P&L) for your vendor line, identifying trends and actionable opportunities to improve profitability.Drive performance against key metrics including revenue, Net GM%, and Net GM$.
  • Forecasting & Inventory Management

    Develop accurate and data-driven sales forecasts and inventory plans to optimize supply and demand.Identify risks or opportunities and proactively recommend adjustments.
  • Drive Strategic Growth

    Analyze market data, competitive trends, and customer insights to uncover growth opportunities.Partner with sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies that increase product adoption.
  • Vendor Relationship Management

    Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendor partners.Support negotiations, resolve issues, and align on strategic priorities to drive mutual success.
  • Operational Excellence

    Serve as a key escalation point for operational challenges and vendor-related issues.Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution.Support customer inquiries, pricing discussions, and deal facilitation.
  • Reporting & Insights

    Create clear, actionable reports and presentations that translate data into business insights.Communicate findings effectively to internal stakeholders and vendor partners.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience & Education

    1–3 years of experience in business analysis, vendor management, product, or marketing rolesBachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required
  • Core Skills

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trendsEffective communication and negotiation skills to influence internal and external stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Technical & Business Acumen

    Experience with forecasting, reporting, and data analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Understanding of market dynamics, inventory management, and financial metrics

Annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

Hiring Salary Range: $48,100 - $68,700 CAD

En tant que analyste des affaires fournisseurs / spécialiste fournisseur, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l’amélioration de la performance financière, de l’efficacité opérationnelle et de la croissance stratégique pour votre ligne de fournisseurs attitrée. Ce que vous ferez

  • Prendre en charge la performance financière

    Surveiller et analyser le profit et perte (P&L) de votre ligne de fournisseurs afin d’identifier les tendances et les opportunités d’amélioration de la rentabilité.Assurer la performance par rapport aux indicateurs clés, incluant les revenus, le GM net % et le GM net $.
  • Prévisions et gestion des stocks

    Élaborer des prévisions de ventes et des plans d’inventaire précis et axés sur les données afin d’optimiser l’offre et la demande.Identifier les risques et les opportunités et recommander proactivement des ajustements.
  • Stimuler la croissance stratégique

    Analyser les données du marché, les tendances concurrentielles et les informations clients afin de dégager des occasions de croissance.Collaborer avec les équipes de vente pour exécuter des stratégies de mise en marché favorisant l’adoption des produits.
  • Gestion des relations fournisseurs

    Établir et maintenir des relations solides et collaboratives avec les partenaires fournisseurs.Soutenir les négociations, résoudre les enjeux et aligner les priorités stratégiques pour assurer un succès mutuel.
  • Excellence opérationnelle

    Agir comme point de d’escalade principal pour les enjeux opérationnels et liés aux fournisseurs.Identifier des améliorations de processus afin d’accroître l’efficacité et l’expérience client.
  • Collaboration interfonctionnelle

    Travailler étroitement avec les équipes de ventes, des opérations et des finances afin d’assurer l’alignement et l’exécution.Soutenir les demandes clients, les discussions de prix et la facilitation des opportunités d’affaires.
  • Rapports et analyses

    Créer des rapports et présentations clairs et exploitables permettant de transformer les données en perspectives d’affaires.Communiquer efficacement les résultats aux parties prenantes internes et aux partenaires fournisseurs.

Ce que nous recherchons

  • Expérience et formation

La rémunération annuelle offerte sera déterminée en fonction de plusieurs facteurs, notamment la localisation géographique, l’expérience professionnelle, la formation et les compétences/accomplissements, et sera convenue mutuellement au moment de l’offre.
Échelle salariale à l’embauche : 48 100 $ à 68 700 $ CAD
