What you will be doing:
Generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within the territory (Western Canada)
Develop a thorough understanding of products, markets, and customer needs
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities
Proactively identify and pursue new customers and applications
Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
Engage in consultative selling to align technical solutions with customer challenges
Retain and expand existing accounts, ensuring excellent after-sales support
Prepare proposals and collaborate with inside sales, service, and technical teams
Maintain accurate records and pipeline management within the CRM
Provide input into reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Maintain strong communication with management and supplier partners
What you must have:
Proven track record in outside sales (5+ years), ideally with exposure to Power Generation and Refining / Oil and Gas
Diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering preferred; instrumentation, electronics, or related technical background also considered
Strong knowledge of instrumentation, analyzers, and electro-mechanical systems
Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to manage time and priorities effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative, solution-focused approach
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
Flexible and willing to travel across Western Canada as needed
Salary/Rate Range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
