❤️ Full-Time or Part-Time Live-In Nanny/Caregiver – Immediate Start 📍 Lillooet, British Columbia We are a warm, active family in beautiful Lillooet, BC looking for a caring, reliable, and hands-on nanny/caregiver to join our family. We are open to full-time OR part-time applicants, with an immediate start. 🏡 Live-In Option Available We have a large private bedroom/rec room available for a live-in caregiver, and you will have use of our family vehicles for work-related transportation and personal use by arrangement. 👨👩👧👦 About Our Family We have two wonderful children: • Our active, curious 7-year-old son who loves being outdoors, building, science experiments, swimming, sports, games, and learning new things. • Our sweet 4-year-old daughter who has a rare genetic condition and significant physical care needs. She requires full assistance with feeding, changing, dressing, transfers, positioning, exercises, and daily therapy routines. We are looking for someone interested in providing long-term support and becoming an important part of our family. No experience with her specific condition is required. We provide extensive hands-on training until you feel completely confident and comfortable in all aspects of her care. 📋 Responsibilities Include * Providing loving, attentive care for both children. * Assisting our daughter with feeding, changing, dressing, transfers, positioning, and completing her daily exercise and therapy program. * Playing with and engaging both children in educational activities, crafts, outdoor adventures, and community outings. * Helping with school routines, appointments, and transportation. * Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children. * Light housekeeping related to the children. Our daughter will be starting school in September and is working toward attending full days. We also have homemaker services for 6 hours each week, so your primary focus will be caring for the children rather than cleaning the home. 🕒 Scheduling Because I am a Registered Nurse and my husband is a Primary Care Paramedic, our schedules include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility with scheduling is essential, and occasional overnight care may be required. ✅ Requirements * Experience caring for children. * Experience supporting children with special needs, disabilities, or medical complexity is a strong asset. * Personal experience growing up with or caring for a sibling or close family member with special needs is also considered a valuable asset. * Willingness to learn specialized care techniques and follow individualized care plans. * Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a good driving record. * Ability to safely lift 40 lbs. * Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). * Compassionate, patient, dependable, organized, and able to work independently. 💰 Compensation * Starting wage: $25/hour, with opportunities for increases based on previous experience and after training. * Overnight shifts: Flat rate of $175/night (sleeping overnight). * If our daughter requires more than 4 hours of awake care overnight, additional awake hours will be paid at $25/hour. * Live-in accommodation available (large private bedroom/rec room). * Use of family vehicles. * Paid training and ongoing support. ❤️ This is a unique opportunity to build a long-term relationship with a supportive family while making a genuine difference in the life of a child with complex medical needs.
