Compensation: Wage range starting at $18.00 per hour, but may be increased based on experience

Hours

• 40-44 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Some Saturdays (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) may be required

Position Summary

As the Stock Associate/Delivery Driver, the individual will be required to efficiently check, pick, receive, ship, stock and organize automotive parts. They will safely load and deliver automotive parts, being mindful of customer requests. They will also help maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store. Effective use of resources, such as the company database and parts catalogue, will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)
• Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
• Efficiently and safely deliver parts, being mindful of customer requests
• Help control inventory and ensure product availability
• Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
• Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize and mop)
• When required, answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
• When required, coordinate the drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team

Key Requirements

• G Driver’s License and a clean 3-year abstract required
• Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control and stock maintenance experience an asset
• Familiarity with the local area
• Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
• Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to 50 lbs. (22.7 kg) safely and consistently
