Senior IT Artificial Intelligence AI Architect/Designer

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior IT Artificial Intelligence (AI) Architect/Designer to pioneer the conceptual, logical, and physical architecture driving enterprise-scale AI strategies and contact centre modernization initiatives. In this role, you will lead customer experience transformations by architecting cutting-edge Conversational AI solutions, Intelligent Virtual Assistants (IVAs), and automated voicebots/chatbots. Operating at the intersection of Generative AI engineering and omnichannel telecom frameworks, you will design secure, knowledge-grounded systems, implement rigorous AI safety guardrails, and seamlessly integrate cloud-native cognitive services with market-leading contact centre platforms.

Responsibilities
Enterprise AI Blueprinting & Strategy: Author end-to-end enterprise AI strategies, technical design blueprints, reference architectures, and deployment roadmaps aligned with public sector privacy, accessibility, and security mandates.

Generative & Agentic AI Engineering: Design and implement solutions utilizing Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous Agentic AI frameworks.

Knowledge-Grounded Retrieval (RAG): Architect advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, designing vector database schemas, semantic search patterns, and secure enterprise knowledge repository connectors.

Conversational Journey & Dialog Architecture: Map complex customer journeys, intent models, multi-turn dialog flows, entity structures, and conversational taxonomies to modernize legacy Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platforms.

Prompt Engineering & Guardrail Governance: Establish prompt engineering standards and orchestration logic; design robust AI guardrails (safety controls, content moderation, response validation, grounding techniques, and hallucination mitigation).

Contact Centre Platform Integration: Architect seamless cloud integrations connecting AI agents with enterprise contact centre technology engines such as Amazon Connect, Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone, or Cisco Contact Center.

Human-in-the-Loop & Routing Design: Formulate intelligent call containment, sentiment-driven routing rules, automated escalation paths, and graceful human-in-the-loop handoff patterns for AI-assisted service delivery.

Data Pipelines & Cognitive Analytics: Integrate API-based microservices and event-driven architectures featuring Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), real-time speech analytics, and behavioral sentiment analysis tools.

Responsible AI Governance: Operationalize AI governance frameworks, model lifecycle management controls, and transparency auditing to enforce responsible AI principles (fairness, explainability, and data privacy).

Executive Advisory & Workshops: Facilitate technical alignment sessions, structure pilots/proof-of-concepts, and deliver executive-ready briefings translating intricate AI logic into actionable business options.



Qualifications
Enterprise Architecture Seniority: 10+ years of progressive professional experience in enterprise architecture, full-lifecycle solution design, and complex software delivery.

Enterprise AI/ML Specialization: 4+ years of dedicated professional experience architecting and implementing enterprise Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions (Generative AI, RAG, and LLM orchestration).

Conversational AI Domain Depth: 4+ years of hands-on experience designing Conversational AI systems, intelligent virtual assistants, voicebots, chatbots, or conversational IVR platforms.

Contact Centre Technology Integration: Proven experience integrating conversational interfaces natively into cloud contact centre software platforms (specifically Amazon Connect, Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone, or Cisco).

Prompt & Dialog Architecture Toolkit: Expert ability to map customer journeys, draft system instructions, engineer prompt frameworks, and establish content moderation safety guardrails.

Cloud-Native & API Prowess: Strong technical background in cloud-native microservices, event-driven architectures, Python/JavaScript/Java programming, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).

Public Sector Governance Awareness (Highly Valued): Experience delivering architectural artifacts that comply with formalized public sector frameworks, GO-ITS standards, privacy guidelines, and digital accessibility compliance (AODA/WCAG rules).

Soft Skills: Exceptional critical thinking, relationship management, and consensus-building mechanics, with a proven track record of steering cross-functional technical squads and presenting complex AI paradigms to non-technical headers.
