Job Summary
Provide technical support for therapy and assessment services by assisting clinicians with test administration and data collection. Prepare equipment, maintain accurate records, and support client care under professional supervision.

Main Duties
- Assist therapists and assessors in administering standardized and non-standardized tests according to established protocols.
- Prepare, calibrate and maintain assessment equipment and therapy materials; ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Observe and accurately record client responses, behaviours, and test results, and enter data into clinical records or databases.
- Coordinate appointments, prepare clients for sessions, and provide instructions to clients as directed by supervising clinicians.
- Communicate observations and preliminary findings to supervising clinicians and participate in multidisciplinary discussions as required.
- Adhere to infection control, safety procedures, confidentiality requirements, and maintain professional documentation standards.
Requirements
- Completion of a postsecondary program in a relevant field (e.g., therapy assistant, rehabilitation technician, audiology assistant) or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience supporting assessments or therapeutic interventions in clinical, educational, or community settings preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, data entry, and common office software for scheduling and documentation.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, accurate written reports.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to follow established protocols, maintain client confidentiality, and perform occasional physical tasks such as assisting or positioning clients.
