Brodsky Construction is seeking an 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic. The successful candidate will be working on site with our equipment from a company service truck. This full time, permanent position is for year round work and may include working in the shop during the winter season.

Hands on experience with all levels of repairs and maintenance to assist in your pursuit of journeyman ticket.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair earth moving equipment such as excavators, rock trucks, dozers, graders, etc.
Perform regular onsite servicing on heavy earthmoving equipment including: Equipment startup and shut down, Fueling, Greasing, Oil changes, Filter Changes
Detailed tracking of records and costs using company software.
General jobsite maintenance and organization.
Adherence to company safety program.
Working with an experienced journeymen who will provide guidance, support and, training.
Qualifications Required:
3rd or 4th year apprentice mechanic in Heavy Duty, Truck and Trailer, or Agriculture mechanic.
Must be driven to excel in your position, and improve every day.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physically fit.
Valid driver's license.
Willing to work away from home when required.
Willing to work 60+ hours per week when required.
Willing to work weekends and holidays when required.
Preferred:
Experience with CAT equipment and support software: CAT ET and SIS.
