Job description
Are you ready to advance your security career? We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Security Guard for one of Canada's largest automotive manufacturing facilities. This is an essential role where you will manage site access, maintain safety, and be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and deliveries.What You'll Need to Succeed:Valid Ontario Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid & CPR CertificationStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer proficiencyAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsReliable transportation to and from the sitePosition Details:Pay Rate: $18.50Pay Progression: $19.06/hour after 3 months | $19.63/hour after 12 monthsShift Time: Days or nights, full timeKey Responsibilities:Control all incoming and outgoing traffic for the plantMonitor security access, fire, and environmental systemsConduct ID checks, vehicle/trailer inspections, and visitor loggingRespond to alarms and coordinate emergency responsesMaintain accurate documentation of all incidents and emergency activitiesManage emergency contact lists and access logsSupport site investigations using Lenel and Avigilon systemsPerform standard Security Guard duties and assist with administrative tasksBasic computer skills and radio communicationWhy Join Securiguard?Clear career development and advancement opportunitiesSpecialized training for those interested in law enforcement careersFull benefits package for full-time employeesPaid training and ongoing educationFrequent opportunities for overtimeDisclaimer:Our recruitment and selection process does not involve the use of artificial intelligence or automated decision-making systems.
