Our client, an industrial bakery facility outside of Waterloo, is looking for a Hands-on Mechanical Technician to join their team in a full-time permanent role on the day shift!
*NOTE: This is NOT a role requiring a Millwright License AND is NOT for someone training to be a Millwright.
This is a role for someone who is handy with tools and who can troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment!
This could be the perfect position for an experienced handyman or garage mechanic!
As the Maintenance Tech, you will do hands-on preventative maintenance, minor repair work and troubleshooting mechanical issues in this semi-automated plant, so you need to be comfortable working on industrial equipment. Candidates with experience on industrial bakery equipment will be given priority!
Hourly rate for this role will be based on the your experience, between $.-./hour plus benefits on completion of your probation period.
