About The Opportunity:

We are looking for an energetic and versatile individual to provide financial and administrative support to the Roads & Fleet Division as well as consistent, professional service to clients, outside agencies and other City divisions. The incumbent acts as the division's expert for all payroll related issues and financial matters and assists management with budget preparation and administration. The work requires utilizing numerous specialty software programs and producing a wide variety of reports related to the division's operational activities.

About Your Background:

You are a high school graduate and have completed a one-year college certificate program in business or a related field, including accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institute. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a minimum of three years' experience in an administrative position. Your experience with budgets, time entry, invoicing and accounts payable/receivable will serve you well. Experience in asset management would be considered an asset. Along with being a self-starter, you are very proficient with word processing and spreadsheet packages. Your exceptional communication skills along with your attention to detail and commitment to customer service excellence make you ideal for this role. A valid full privilege Class 5 driver's license (or out of province equivalent) is required. The successful candidate will be required to consent to a Police Information Check for offenses related to the position.
