Our client a prominent retailer is seeking an experienced leader to join their team asDirector Compliance & Privacy todrive their privacy AI governance and data useprograms across Canada. This strategic role will partner with senior business leaders to ensure responsible data use regulatory compliance and ethical innovation while supporting business growth and protecting stakeholder trust.
The ideal candidate will have:
8 years experience in privacy compliance and/or data governance matters
Experience leadinggovernance or compliance programs within global organizations
Knowledge of AI governance emerging technologyrisk and responsible AI practices
Experience advising on privacy impact assessments and risk assessments
Exceptional leadership stakeholder management and influencing skills
