The Shipper and Receiver ships, receives and records the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from an establishment.

Benefits Extended Health & Dental Benefits Premiums Paid by Employer Employer Contribution Pension Plan Growth Opportunities Paid Training Long term job security Employee Assistance Program Telus Health Virtual Care Responsibilities Delivery of parts to customers Pick-up and deliver parts for service and parts department Receive shipments from carriers Keep bins in main parts department full with overstock from the warehouse area Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare packing slips, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and record damaged goods.
Report shortages and damages to Parts Manager Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods Verifies all packing slips with parts pulled to insure product and quantities being shipped are correct Parts returns, PR’s etc.
