Your new role
The Maintenance Technician will be reporting to the Property Manager and joining an existing site team for a luxury property in North Vancouver. The Maintenance Technician will be servicing a 100+ unit rental building right from building hand over! The technician will be responsible for conducting regular and preventative maintenance, including minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall patching, painting, unit turnovers and other minor repairs. You will be responding to tenant requests and work orders and conduct building walkthroughs to ensure the building is being looked after in order to create a smooth and positive experience for tenants.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years of maintenance or handyman experience. Residential maintenance experience is preferred.
- Experience with MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems.
- Knowledge of BAS or DDC systems.
- On call rotation availability.
- Experience using work order management software (i.e. Yardi, Angus, Suitespot)
