The Don Valley Animal Hospital has been serving the Don Mills community for over 35 years. We are located west of the D.V.P. on Lawrence Ave. E. across from the Shops on Don Mills. We pride ourselves in providing the personal and professional care that you should expect from a veterinary hospital.
As pet owners ourselves we understand the importance and value of our companions in our daily life. Our team offers a warm respectful compassionate and loving environment to all our clients and their pets. We offer a wide range of services including internal medicine surgery dentistry the existence of nutritional and behavioural services.
Is This Role Right For You
Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical surgical and dental procedures by using a range of diagnostic equipment preparing patients instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.
Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.
