The Department of Animal & Poultry Science invites applications for a Teaching Assistant for the following course during the 2026-2027 Regular session:
Course Name, Course Abbreviation & Number: The Department of Animal & Poultry Science has multiple positions available for teaching assistants. Appointments will vary in nature up to 75 hours per term. Please indicate which courses you are applying for. You may apply for more than one course.

ANSC 440 – Poultry Production
ANSC 460 – Dairy Management
ANSC 485 – Swine Production and Management
ANBI 110 – Introductory Animal Bioscience
ANBI 360 – Canine and Feline Science
ANBI 375 – Animals and the Environment
ANBI 411 – Behaviour of Domestic Animals
ANBI 470 – Applied Animal Biotechnology
ANSC 801 – Animal Experimentation
AGRIC 112 – Animal Agriculture and Food Science
Required Number of Hours: Various, depending on the class.

In the appointment of a Teaching Assistant position, your general duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
Minimum of a BSc degree or equivalent in Agriculture or a related field.
You must be a current graduate student in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science at the University of Saskatchewan and a member of the Graduate Students’ Association.
