Westlake Pipe & Fittings is looking for 1 Engineering (Mechanical or Process) student to join our team for the summer. This is a great opportunity to work closely with Maintenance Team as well as other senior level employees. This positions main responsibility will be managing spare parts inventory data entry and support additional responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent. This is for a Junior Engineering Student. This role is reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent.
Range of Hourly Rate: $23-$25

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop kneel crouch or lift up to 50lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position has a transitioning work environment. Office/computer manufacturing plant and outdoor environments are normal. The noise level in the plant environment is usually high as normal for a manufacturing plant. Some of the work in the operating units may require usage of required PPE including safety glasses hearing protection steel toe shoes fall protection hard hats etc.
