Mattamy’sFinanceLeadershipDevelopmentProgram(FLDP)offerstheuniqueopportunitytoaccelerate your career development, business knowledge and leadership skills through 30 months of rigorous placement within our finance teams while simultaneously working towards attaining your Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation.

What you’ll do

BasedoutofourCanadianCorporateOfficeinMississauga,AssociatesintheMattamyFLDPprogram will have Financial Analyst responsibilities which include ensuring that financial information is prepared and analyzed with a high degree of accuracy and on atimelybasis. Additionally, theywill be expected to support and participate in driving finance initiatives, with exposure to Divisional and Corporate Finance teams, functions and roles. The 30-month Finance Leadership Development Program is structured as two, 15-month rotations in the following:

• FinancialReporting
• FinancialPlanning&Analysis or Operations Finance

Youwillhoneyourleadershipskillsandtechnicalknowledgetohelpdriveincrementalvalueand change by:

• Gainingtechnicalaptitudeinconsolidation,financialplanningandanalysis,budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting
• Collaboratingoncrossfunctionalteamsinordertodesign,developandimplement various projects.
• Developinganddemonstratingyourcompetenceoncomplexcross-functionalprojects that stretch beyond most new college graduate positions.
• Developingbusinessknowledgeandinsightintoprocessimprovement initiatives

As a FLDP Associate you will have an individualized development plan, receive regular coaching, mentoringandfeedbackandwillprovidedaytodaybusinesssupportwithinyourplacements.This program’s intention is to prepare our future generation of business leaders within finance and accounting.

Mattamy is an accredited employer with CPA Ontario and this program is accredited to meet the practical work experience requirements for achieving your CPA designation. All applicants to the programarerequiredtobeinpursuitoftheirCPAdesignationand planto write(orhave written)the CFE, which Mattamy is pleased to offer time and cost support towards.

What you bring

• Bachelor’sDegree(expectedgraduationbyJune2026)inBusinessorAccounting required.
• Provenacademicsuccess(3.0GPA minimum)
• MustbeinpursuitoftheirCPA designationandplantowrite(orhavewritten)theCFE.
• Musthavecompletedpre-requisitecoursesforCPA PEPregistrationbyFLDPprogramstartdate.
• Demonstratedleadershipexperience.
• Thedesiretoworkinateamenvironmentandtakeaproactiveleadership role.
• Thedrivetoactivelycontributetobothpersonalandcompany-widegoalsthroughcreativeand innovative thinking.

Compensation

• The expected base salary range for this position is $57,500 - $87,500.00. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
• You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
