Zurich Canada is currently looking for an Office Experience, Mail Specialist to join our Office Experience team and support Mail, Imaging and Office services.

Reporting to AVP, Office Experience Manager, you will work as part of a 5-person team with primary responsibility for Mail and Imaging support in our Toronto Office. Applicants must have a strong customer service background and a desire to enhance the office experience through exception service and support. Strong PC skills and attention to detail are required.

What you will do

Mail and Imaging Support:
• Responsible for receiving, receipt and delivery of mail, following security protocols and monitoring equipment and supplies.
• Sorting of inbound mail into pre labelled mail bins
• Sort and research all unidentifiable mail
• Pick up and sort interoffice mail
• Pick up and process outbound mail and prepare for pick up
• Replenish postage meter utilizing the "Postage by Phone" process. Reconcile postage account monthly
• Outbound and inbound courier processing
• Incoming record storage/outgoing record storage picked up by request on an as-needed basis
• Coordinate records pick up by Iron Mountain
• Direct Iron Mountain shredding bin pick up
• Remove filled shredding bins and replace with empty bins as requested
• Scanning and printing projects as requested by business units

Office Services:
• Backfill for Reception and Office Services roles to cover breaks and absences
• Invoicing and administrative tasks, as assigned
• Office services support – vendor escort, general facilities tasks, printer maintenance, service calls, dishwasher support and meeting set ups.
• Switchboard coverage as required

Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table

• 1-3 years in Office, Mail or Admin experience

AND

• High school diploma

At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is 39,000 - 45,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate’s skills and experience.
