Our public sector client is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer/Architect (10+ years) to migrate an on-premises SQL Server/SSIS data warehouse to an AWS-based data lakehouse architecture using AWS, dbt, Apache Airflow, and Redshift
Join a modernization initiative focused on transforming an on-premises data warehouse into a scalable AWS-based data lakehouse environment. This role provides technical leadership across data pipeline design, CI/CD deployment systems, monitoring, security, and migration activities involving SQL Server, Oracle, APIs, and AWS services. The project includes collaboration with IT and Data Management teams supporting cloud-based analytics and data platform capabilities. The engagement supports a single high-visibility project within a remote delivery environment.
