Job Summary Our Client is a Saskatchewan-based mechanical insulation contractor working on commercial and institutional projects across the province. We are currently hiring a Construction Labourer to support their team on a long term project in Prince Albert.
Position Overview They are looking for a highly organized Construction Labourer who can keep our materials flowing smoothly on site. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing insulation and related materials and ensuring the right materials are available on each floor so our insulators can work efficiently.
You will work closely with and report to their Site Foreman and their
Manager.
Key Responsibilities - Organize, sort, and stage insulation materials and related supplies on site
- Ensure each floor has the correct materials available ahead of the crews’ work
- Track material usage and communicate low stock or upcoming needs to the Site Foreman
- Assist with unloading, moving, and storing materials safely
- Maintain clean, orderly, and safe material storage areas
- Follow site safety rules and the companies procedures at all times
- Take direction from the companies Site Foreman and Project Manager and support other site tasks as required
Qualifications - Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or provincial equivalent) – required
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
- Able to take direction and follow instructions reliably
- Physically able to lift and move materials on a construction site
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Previous construction or commercial construction site experience is an asset, but not required
Work Conditions: Full-time (40 hour weeks) for the duration of the project (weekdays M-F; occasional overtime may be required based on project needs)
