Job Title: General Production Worker - Wire Manufacturer

Job Description

The Wire Manufacturer is responsible for operating and setting up extrusion and wrapping lines, producing magnet wire to specification, performing required in-process and final testing in accordance with NEMA standards, maintaining process control and schedule adherence, and supporting internal and external customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and insulation lines, adjusting process parameters within documented limits, and continuously monitor production performance.
• Prepare machines for new wire sizes, insulation types, or materials, load raw materials, verify tooling and configuration, and document setup completion.
• Perform required in-process and final testing in accordance with NEMA standards.
• Maintain process control and adhere to production schedules.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Good communication skills
• Hand and power tool experience
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in general production, specifically with copper

Work Environment

Join a team of 20-30 people in a dynamic and supportive environment. Work involves a continental shift of 12 hours from 6:00pm to 6:00am, with 7 days of work followed by 7 days off. Overtime is offered after 88 hours. Additionally, a day shift is available from 6:00am to 6:00pm. The position is within the Magnet Wire Department.

The pay range for this position is $19.60 - $19.60/hr.
