• Validate project execution strategies and ensure schedules accurately reflect project scope and delivery requirements.

• Establish and maintain baseline schedules and schedule management plans.

Schedule Analysis & Controls

• Maintain and update project schedules based on actual progress and forecast information.

• Perform critical path, float, productivity, and schedule performance analyses.

• Identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities and recommend mitigation or recovery strategies.

• Conduct what-if analyses and scenario planning to evaluate alternative execution approaches.

• Assess the schedule impacts of scope changes, delays, productivity issues, and emerging project risks.

• Support change management processes through schedule impact assessments and recovery planning.

Project Controls Integration

• Work closely with project controls, cost controls, and risk management teams to ensure schedule alignment with project objectives.

• Support earned value management, progress measurement, forecasting, and project performance reporting.

• Participate in risk workshops and contribute schedule-related risk assessments and contingency evaluations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

• Facilitate schedule review meetings with project teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.

• Review and evaluate contractor and vendor schedules for compliance, logic, constructability, and contractual requirements.

• Prepare executive-level schedule reports, dashboards, forecasts, and presentations.

• Clearly communicate schedule status, critical issues, emerging risks, and recommended actions to project leadership.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planners, schedulers, and project controls personnel.

• Promote best practices in planning, scheduling, and project controls.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of scheduling standards, procedures, and tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of planning and scheduling experience supporting large projects.

• Demonstrated experience in Energy & Resources projects, including mining, power generation, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, industrial facilities, oil and gas, or major infrastructure projects.

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.

• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project delivery processes.

• Extensive knowledge of CPM scheduling principles, schedule development, and schedule analysis techniques.

• Experience developing schedules from early project phases through execution and commissioning.

• Ability to identify project risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to challenge assumptions and influence project execution decisions.
