HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find an End to End Systems Engineer to serve as the technical point of contact for the Operational Design Domain (ODD) across the Zoox vehicle platform.
In this role, you’ll define, maintain, and evolve multiple platform ODDs by aligning requirements, managing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues. You’ll also own the development and maintenance of Polarion documentation while partnering with engineering teams to align on ODD requirements, concepts of operations (ConOps), and go-to-market strategy.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative systems engineer with strong requirements management experience and a passion for translating complex technical concepts into well-defined, traceable system requirements. They thrive in cross-functional environments and are comfortable driving alignment across multiple engineering disciplines.
As an End to End Systems Engineer, you'll:- Create and maintain Operational Design Domains (ODDs) for multiple vehicle platforms using product lifecycle management (PLM) requirements tools.
- Develop, maintain, and manage requirements documentation within Polarion.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define, review, and align ODD requirements, ConOps, and system-level documentation.
- Facilitate reviews, enablement sessions, and technical working groups with functional safety, product software, vehicle systems, and advanced hardware teams.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion, Jama, or DOORS
- Experience authoring requirements and performing requirements analysis using agentic AI or large language model (LLM) tools
- Working knowledge of SysML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering, and System of Systems Engineering

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.
