Job description

Tasks

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate the maintenance team to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance work to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Monitor production downtime, inspections, repairs, and improvement projects.
  • Manage parts inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, track performance indicators, and contribute to maintenance budget management.

Job requirements

  • DEP in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or equivalent training (technical diploma or engineering degree is an asset).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a sawmill or forestry industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
