Job description

Paralegal (Client Intake Experience) – #5152

Our client is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Paralegal to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in client intake, particularly in roles involving detailed client interviews, claims preparation, and file management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client interviews as part of the claims administration process.
  • Prepare and draft claims based on information gathered from clients.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients and obtain documentation and details relevant to their claims.
  • Oversee the progression of files, including collecting supporting records and assisting with settlement administration.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure files are managed efficiently throughout the claims process.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal Diploma or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), immigration, personal injury, class action, or other client intake-focused legal environments is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Excellent organizational and file management abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, internet-based tools, case management software, and advanced database management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with limited structure.
  • Self-directed and capable of exercising sound judgment and making recommendations when appropriate.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Composed and professional approach when working through challenging situations.
