We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer to join our dynamic team in Atlantic Canada.
This is a temporary term position for 5 months.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Hands-on engineer with expertise in developing complex and highly available enterprise applications using PEGA
• Responsible for technical aspects of software engineering including design, developing prototypes, and coding assignments
• Nurture an environment of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
• Maintain excellent documentation for the software design and architecture.
• Review Product features and ensure it in line with platform architecture and standards.
• Collaborating with architects, product owners, delivery managers, engineers and other scrum teams to deliver a quality product.
• Encouraging innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 4+ years of work experience developing complex and highly available applications.
• Experience delivering advanced solutions for a high-volume, distributed web application.
• Experience with Rest APIs.
• Experience with testing: Unit Testing, Test Driven Development.
• Experience in using SQL databases and distributed messaging systems like Kafka etc.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $26.44–$52.88. This role is an existing vacancy.
