About The Role

As a Senior Analyst on our Employee Benefits team, you’ll be a key player in delivering outstanding client service through sharp analysis, clear reporting, and smart use of technology. You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, lead renewal and marketing activities, and help drive process improvements that make our whole team more effective.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and deliver client‑ready reports, presentations, and analysis within agreed timelines, delivering exceptional service across all touchpoints including meetings, presentations, and daily interactions.
  • Conduct renewal analyses, negotiate carrier fees and rates, and prepare comprehensive client‑facing reports including renewals, valuations, financial statements, and plan design analyses.
  • Complete contract and document reviews.
  • Lead marketing activities from end to end, including preparing carrier specifications, analysing responses, review and update cost analysis and delivering market study recommendations.
  • Review and validate claims experience data, financial statements, and quote analyses, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all deliverables.
  • Coordinate carrier relationships, peer‑review analyst work, and escalates issues appropriately to maintain quality and meet deadlines.
  • Research industry trends and benefit plan developments, translating findings into actionable insights for clients and the team.
  • Drive process improvement through automation, technology platforms, and user‑friendly templates that enhance team efficiency.
  • Draft project plans and client workflow planners, monitor project progress for self and colleagues.
  • Support junior team members through hands‑on guidance, peer review, and proactive communication.
  • Maintain accurate client files and handle all sensitive information in strict compliance with HUB’s privacy and confidentiality policies.
  • Respond to client inquiries, process plan amendments, and support implementations with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.

What You’ll Need For Success

  • 2‑5 years of Employee Benefits experience, with a post‑secondary background in business, mathematics, statistics, or actuarial studies considered a strong asset.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, tables, pivot tables) and solid proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
  • A sharp numerical mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; comfortable digging into data and finding solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks under timeline pressure.
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver great service.
  • A natural multitasker who thrives under deadlines, manages competing priorities with ease, and follows through consistently.
  • A collaborative team player who is equally comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
