Savvas Learning Company is a global education company that produces award-winning learning solutions that empower educators and engage students with the highest quality content.

Recognized as an industry leader, we serve millions of K-12 learners with innovative, student-centered educational programs that turn today’s classrooms into active learning environments. By embracing technology, personalized learning, and immersive experiences delivered across multiple platforms, we design our learning solutions to be more accessible and relevant to each student.

Our comprehensive solutions for core curriculum, and supplemental and intervention programs - supported by an array of professional development services - allow teachers to use data to inform classroom practices and tailor instructions to an individual’s abilities and learning styles.

Savvas Learning Company is a next-generation learning company that combines new ideas, new ways of thinking, and new ways of interacting to create innovative K-12 solutions. Savvas carries on a longstanding tradition of delivering the most engaging, innovative curriculum that has transformed the way students learn, accelerating their growth and improving their outcomes.

As a Senior Project Analyst, you are a self-directed, creative problem solver and excellent collaborator. You value open and clear communication and are comfortable working across teams to improve operational efficiency relating to the creation, management, and delivery of K-12 print and digital product experiences. You are a crucial participant in the planning and organization of projects, throughout the full editorial development cycle. This detail-oriented self-starter is skilled and experienced in collaborating with all relevant teams to facilitate seamless execution and creative excellence.

This role has a particular focus on optimizing editorial workflows, upholding data integrity, and ensuring trackers and tools efficiently feed into overall Savvas workflows and toolsets. This role also provides system architecture support within Smartsheet.

This is a term of project position for one (1) year.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate best practices around process, documentation, tracking, review, and production to inform project strategy and approach, with a strong emphasis on designing workflows and data structuring for optimal data integrity.
  • Support Editorial teams with efficient reporting and tracking tools via Smartsheet and other related tools, ensuring optimal data flow and integrity.
  • Socialize and evangelize tools and workflows that bring clarity and focus to product vision, especially new solutions for improving data capture and creative efficiency across the product development ecosystem.
  • Provide project support to onboard teams and vendors to Savvas tools and processes quickly, with a focus on data capture, metadata accuracy, and workflow adherence for development processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build strong relationships and improve touchpoints between Product Development and other teams within the organization like Project Management and Production.
  • Lead with empathy to listen and understand pain points, resulting in solutions that meet the team’s needs.
  • Participate and advise on improvement initiatives across Savvas, with an emphasis on innovating and optimizing development through the strategic integration of emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and workflow automation to enhance data integrity and system efficiency.

Skills

  • Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills, specifically around data best practices, data structure, process and workflow optimization, and the architecture of interconnected systems.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze complex processes, synthesize data and drive towards usable insights and solutions, particularly within creative production data pipelines and asset metadata workflows.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and tools as they relate to automated workflows (e.g., metadata tagging, transcription, content analysis) and overall data efficiency within creative production.
  • Proficiency in project management software, particularly Smartsheet.

Requirements

  • BA in Project Management, Business Management, Computer Science, Logistics, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, operations, or strategy within a high-volume, fast-paced, and evolving environment; publishing or educational technology experience is an asset.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects through the full project lifecycle, delivering results on time and within scope.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating schedules, resources, and deliverables across multiple teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify project risks, anticipate challenges, and work collaboratively to develop mitigation strategies and solutions.
  • Experience developing, documenting, and continuously improving processes to support efficient project planning, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Understanding of AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., automated tagging, transcription, content analysis) and how they can be leveraged to improve operational efficiency and content discoverability.
  • Smartsheet certification, PMP certification, or other process/project management credentials are considered assets.
