Job description
Become a key player in Lightspeed's Payments team as a Senior Engineer specializing in system architecture. Lead the design and implementation of systems that manage millions of transactions daily. We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer based in Canada to own the architectural delivery of mission-critical payment systems. Advocate for AI-enabled processes and help guide your team from experimentation to successful production. Your role will bridge cross-functional teams and elevate engineering standards while ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the technical delivery of payment systems at scale • Define modern standards for resilient deployments • Move efficiently from POC to production with clear trajectories • Shape product strategy and manage technical roadmaps • Coach engineers to foster skill and knowledge growth Requirements: • Significant experience leading large-scale system failures • Proficiency in complex system architectures • Experience with AI-driven coding practices • Strong communication to simplify technical concepts • Fintech experience is a bonus Utilize your skills to empower Lightspeed’s Payments team and drive operational excellence in transaction processing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
