Job description
Take on the role of Mechanical Design Lead specializing in mining. Use your technical skills in tools like AutoCAD and 3D MicroStation to create and refine innovative designs. This senior engineering role focuses on managing project deliverables and providing mentorship to design teams. You will perform detailed analyses, create mechanical layouts, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your ability to communicate and coordinate with clients will be crucial as you work to fulfill their requirements and meet project objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the development of mechanical layouts for mining • Conduct research and recommend effective designs • Manage budgets and delivery schedules effectively • Supervise the design team and provide mentorship • Extract and check drawings from 3D models Requirements: • At least 15 years in heavy industrial design • Experience with Bentley, OpenPlant, or MicroStation • Strong commitment to quality and safety • Familiarity with engineering standards and codes • Must possess good communication skills Leverage your design talent to influence mining projects and guide a team toward successful outcomes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
