Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator for our client's warehouse team. This position is ideal for candidates with warehouse experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have experience operating forklifts or reach trucks.
You will play a key role in shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and general warehouse operations while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
  • Pay Rate: $ 22.00/hour
  • Location: Ajax, ON
  • Shift: 4:30pm - 3:30am
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Receive incoming materials, products, and supplies
  • Load and unload trucks safely
  • Move materials throughout the warehouse using a forklift and/or reach truck
  • Prepare and ship outgoing products and orders
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities
  • Ensure warehouse inventory is protected against damage, loss, or shortages
  • Support customer service and production teams as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform general warehouse duties and other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Forklift Certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of forklift and/or reach truck operating experience
  • Previous warehouse and material handling experience
  • Experience with inventory control systems is considered an asset
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
