Job description
Engage with BFM Mission Thrift Store in Pembroke, Ontario, as a Volunteer Board Member. Your strategic insights and governance skills will drive impactful ministry work in the community. BFM Foundation (Canada) is on the lookout for community-minded individuals to take up volunteer board roles. This is an opportunity for those passionate about Bible-based ministry to uphold governance standards, pray with staff, and ensure operational compliance. Board members are expected to actively participate in meetings and community support. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure strategic governance of the thrift store • Maintain compliance with legal standards • Oversee effective board operations • Pray with store volunteers and staff • Support community fundraising initiatives Requirements: • Follower of Jesus Christ aligned with our mission • Familiarity with board governance and risk management • Experience in nonprofit or faith-based organizations • Strong communication and leadership abilities • Commitment to ethical and accountable service Become part of a dedicated team making a difference through the mission of BFM in Pembroke. #J-18808-Ljbffr
