Job description

At King Ursa, we’re not just another agency. We’re a fiercely independent creative powerhouse built for brands that refuse to blend in. We combine human creativity with AI, data, and analytics to deliver bold, results-driven work. Our mantra is Creativity with Teeth - and we’re looking for an experienced Account Supervisor who knows how to lead people and lead the work with equal confidence.

This role sits at the center of the agency. You own the success of your accounts while enabling others to do their best work. You lead calmly, think strategically, and create clarity for clients and teams alike. You’re trusted, steady, and decisive when it counts.

The right candidate is confident, solutions-oriented, and thrives under pressure. You respond to change with clarity and intention. You inspire trust with both clients and colleagues. You don’t just manage the work - you elevate the people behind it.

This is an opportunity to fully own the day-to-day leadership of your accounts. The role has significant runway for the right candidate, with a strong support and mentorship system in place, above and below. This is a critical leadership role within our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Build trusted client partnerships and lead day-to-day communications
  • Run meetings and project milestones with clarity and confidence
  • Anticipate challenges, manage priorities, and keep teams aligned
  • Delegate effectively while maintaining accountability and oversight
  • Offer clear feedback, recognize strong performance, and support professional growth
  • Evaluate briefs and creative work, ensuring it stays strategic and on brand
  • Bring competitive insights and fresh thinking to every project
  • Explore how AI and emerging tools can responsibly elevate creativity and results
  • Oversee timelines, assets, and deliverables with accuracy and quality control
  • Support financial health with budgets, estimates, and cost tracking
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, media, and production partners

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience at the Account Supervisor level within a creative or fully integrated agency
  • 5-7 years of account management experience in a creative or fully integrated agency (media and PR experience a plus)
  • Diverse vertical experience, CPG experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage integrated, multi-channel campaigns (broadcast, OLV, digital, social, experiential, non-traditional)
  • Experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members
  • Ability to manage up and support senior leadership proactively
  • Strong strategic instincts and sound creative judgment
  • Solid financial skills across budgeting, estimating, and reconciliation
  • Clear communicator with confident leadership and presentation skills
  • Organized, adaptable, and skilled at balancing competing priorities
  • A collaborative team player who leads with accountability and empathy
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging tools, and how they can responsibly advance client work

Why You’ll Love Working Here

At King Ursa, we’re serious about doing great work, but we know it starts with creating an environment where people can thrive.

  • Hybrid and flexible work built on trust and accountability
  • KU Days that extend every long weekend so you can recharge
  • Team events and celebrations that keep our culture vibrant
  • Learning and growth opportunities through webinars, mentorship, and supported development
  • A supportive, experienced team that encourages collaboration at every level and is committed to your growth.
  • Cross-training and collaboration that expand your skills
  • A tight-knit, ambitious team that celebrates bold ideas and unconventional problem-solving
  • Competitive vacation and benefits package to support your well-being

Commitment to Inclusion

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage applications from all qualified candidates. In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), accommodations are available at any stage of the recruitment process upon request.

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Join a team that values bold thinking, real accountability, and the ambition to make your mark.
