Job description
Shape the future of mining with AtkinsRéalis as a Lead Structural Engineering Specialist. This role, available in various Canadian cities, focuses on innovative design and project delivery. In the vibrant Minerals and Metals team, you will leverage your structural engineering expertise to lead critical projects from design through implementation. With a requirement of 10+ years in heavy industrial projects, you will manage design stages while ensuring compliance with industry codes. Your skills in multi-disciplinary collaboration will enhance project outcomes and drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Execute structures and foundation designs through project stages • Create documents including design reports and specifications • Lead and mentor the structural engineering team • Oversee budgets, schedules, and project deliverables • Perform quality assurance checks on engineering work Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Structural Engineering • At least 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience • Extensive knowledge of structural codes like ACI and NBCC • Professional engineer status in Canada • Proficiency in design tools such as SAP2000 Contribute to successful project execution and innovation at AtkinsRéalis, using your structural engineering skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
