Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluation of test requirements.
- Prepare required test documentation related to test.
- Participate in the rig design process.
- Participate in test article servicing and preparation for test.
- Participate and lead assembly and calibration of the test rig equipment including test articles.
- Install and commission required instrumentation.
- Integrate adequate load control, data acquisition, and safety systems.
- Perform testing per test and engineering operating procedures, ensuring environmental and HSE aspects are considered.
- Prepare test articles for inspection.
- Perform periodical inspections and maintenance.
- Test article configuration control and storage.
- Document test findings in the form of Test Reports.
- Task planning and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Mechanical tools and associated equipment proficiency (hands on).
- Familiarity with structural and materials testing methodology and means.
- Previous experience in structural testing.
- Experience with instrumentation.
- Capable of creating and handling documentation, schematics and drawings.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to commit to multitasking and innovation.
- Experience with load control systems.
- Experience with data acquisition systems.
- Experience with hydro mechanical systems.
- Automation of various systems.
Salary: $78,100 to $97,600
All applicants must meet the following requirements: Minimum age of 18 years. Canadian Controlled Goods Regulations (CGR), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances and applicable contractual obligations.
