Job description
Join Infineon as a Staff Engineer Characterization in our innovative R&D team. Utilize your technical knowledge to enhance semiconductor technology and product performance. This role requires a solid background in GaN materials and at least three years of experience in power device characterization. You will focus on developing automated measurement systems and modifying test procedures to ensure data integrity. Engaging with multidisciplinary teams is essential for analyzing device performance. Key Responsibilities: • Perform electrical characterization on GaN HEMTs • Design on-wafer test structures for precise measurements • Interpret SEM/TEM and thermal data for device analysis • Collaborate with application engineers for performance insights • Standardize test protocols and provide mentoring support Requirements: • MSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics; PhD preferred • Three years of experience in semiconductor characterization • Proficiency in high-voltage A/C measurement tools • Experience with programming languages like C++ and MATLAB • Strong analytical and technical writing skills At Infineon, help define the future of semiconductor technology while applying your characterization engineering expertise. #J-18808-Ljbffr
