Job description
Drive next-gen chip design validation as a Lead Software Engineer in ATE Diagnostics at AMD, based in Markham, ON. This role is crucial for merging software frameworks with production testing strategies to enhance product quality. In this role, you will spearhead the integration of functional diagnostics directly into wafer sort processes. Your expertise will bridge platform software execution with ATE needs, requiring comprehensive knowledge of testing paradigms and system dependencies. You'll collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring robust test architectures are developed and optimized effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the technical direction for functional GFX diagnostics • Develop pipelines for diagnostic pattern conversion • Act as liaison across diagnostics and engineering teams • Analyze software/hardware interactions for ATE • Maximize test coverage and minimize execution costs Requirements: • 8+ years in silicon engineering or related fields • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming • Familiarity with ATE platforms and processes • Deep understanding of diagnostics and testing patterns • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in testing environments Apply your technical leadership to propel AMD's innovations in Markham. #J-18808-Ljbffr
