About the role As the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with commercial property owners and managers, and securing janitorial service contracts across the Lower Mainland. This is a consultative sales role where you'll spend your time building relationships, networking within the industry, responding to opportunities, and helping clients find service solutions that meet their needs. What you'll be doing - Develop new business opportunities across your assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial property owners, property managers, and facility management professionals
- Secure new janitorial service contracts through proactive business development
- Attend networking events and industry functions to expand your professional network
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and RFP responses
- Maintain accurate client records and sales activity within the CRM system
- Stay informed on market trends and identify new growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an exceptional client experience
What you'll bring We're looking for someone who is driven, relationship-focused, and passionate about growing a book of business.
You'll bring: - At least 3 years of business development or sales experience
- Experience selling janitorial, facility services, commercial cleaning, or related B2B services is strongly preferred
- A proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- An established network within commercial real estate, property management, or facility management is a significant asset
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Confidence managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- A valid BC Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
