Job description
Join CPKC as a Trainmaster in Montreal, Quebec, facilitating efficient train operations and fostering a safety-oriented culture. This pivotal role will involve risk assessments and operational oversight daily. Your primary duty will be executing the Local Service Operating Plan while ensuring safety and productivity metrics are met. You'll coach your team, conduct efficiency tests, and actively participate in safety discussions. This position also allows you to operate trains and manage terminals effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor all train movements safely and tactically • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders • Lead safety compliance and corrective actions • Conduct operational efficiency assessments regularly • Coach and mentor operational staff effectively Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent is necessary • Railway experience is mandatory; conductor role preferred • 2+ years of supervisory experience desired • Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities • Available for all types of shifts Expand your railroading career while ensuring safe and efficient operations at CPKC in Montreal. #J-18808-Ljbffr
