Job description
Join Mace as a Cost Control Manager, specializing in project cost management and stakeholder engagement. Utilize your analytical skills in a hybrid role to enhance project delivery. In this key role, you will employ your expertise in budgeting and estimating to drive forward construction project outcomes. Your ability to mentor Cost Consultants while ensuring compliance and managing commercial risks will be crucial. Engage closely with clients to build trust and deliver outstanding service throughout the project's lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee procurement strategies and contract selection • Manage cost planning and present final cost plans • Ensure effective contract documentation and execution • Report on valuations and manage cost control • Coach and develop a team of Cost Consultants Requirements: • Demonstrable experience in cost planning and budgeting • Thorough knowledge of construction contractual frameworks • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or similar • Relevant professional membership (MRICS/RICS preferred) • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills Bring your expertise in cost control and construction management to Mace, making a significant impact on project success. #J-18808-Ljbffr
